If anyone is interested in finding a support group in their area, the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA) has a number of support groups across the country. I just inquired about the one in my area yesterday and I think I'm going to check it out this coming Sunday. Here is the link to the support group page where you can search by state or by zip code.
