I''m participating in the NAMI Walk in Baltimore again this year. It takes place in a little over
a month on May 18th. While raising money isn't a prerequisite to walking, I would
like to raise as much money as possible for this awesome organization
that does so much to raise awareness and fight the stigma of mental
health! I should have started my efforts to raise money much earlier as I
did last year but unfortunately, I am just now starting! If you would
like to donate, even if it is just a few dollars, the link is below. Also,
if you're in the Baltimore area and would like to join me in walking,
let me know! :)

Mental Illness does not define someone! It's nothing more than a diagnosis. Bipolar Disorder is an illness I have; it in no way defines who I am! There are so many things in my life that define me; Bipolar is not one of them! There is a huge stigma that society attaches to mental illness. For someone to feel ashamed of an illness they have due to society’s misconceptions is in no way acceptable. Read about my own personal experiences with Bipolar Disorder and join me in KISSING STIGMA GOODBYE!
